Summit
Mam Tor
Mam Tor offers one of the most legible accesses to the peaks of the Peak District, with an exposed climb and views of Hope Valley, Edale and the surrounding hills. The wind can harden the effort, but the trail quickly gives the feeling of walking uphill that attracts travelers to the park.
Valley
Dovedale
Dovedale seduces by a tight limestone valley, where the Dove River passes between walls, meadows and famous fordstones. Walking can stay family-friendly on easy areas, but irregular trails invite you to take good shoes and time to follow the stream without haste.
Village
Castleton
Castleton gathers the classic image of a village in the Peak District: stone streets, pubs, nearby slopes, caves and ruins of Peveril Castle above the roofs. The place is convenient to alternate village walks and walking departures, with a lively atmosphere early in the morning or after the departure of the groups.
Tank
Ladybower Reservoir
Ladybower Reservoir brings to Peak District A landscape of dark water, wooded slopes and roads that follow the curves of the reservoir. The surrounding loops can remain easy or extend to the heights, while the viewpoints reveal the contrast between human work and open valleys.
