Mont-Carleton Provincial Park
Mont-Carleton Provincial Park is home to some of New Brunswick's wildest landscapes: isolated lakes, deep forests, ridge trails and dark nights. The hikers find several accessible peaks, while the campers come for calm, cold waters and the impression of being far from coastal roads.

Mount Carleton dominates northern New Brunswick with a wooded top that opens, in clear weather, on a sea of hills and lakes. Ascension remains the park's most significant experience: a forest trail, and then an unobstructed finish where the scale of the Sea Appalachians is measured.
