Sayram Lake and Guozigou
Large lake of altitude and spectacular valley mark the passage between basin of Junggar and valley of Ili.
Lake Sayram, Guozigou Bridge and Guozigou Prairies give the most telling landmarks of Lake Sayram and Guozigou. Together, they form a destination where the shores and lakes, mountain reliefs, natural spaces and the countryside meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Lake Sayram
Sayram is a vast blue lake set more than two thousand meters between flowery meadows and Tian Shan ridges. A road makes it around, but weather, altitude and distances warrant at least one full day.
桥
Guozigou Bridge
The large bridge of Guozigou crosses a steep valley on the highway from Sayram to Yining. The best views are on authorized areas; stopping on the road is dangerous.
Nature and landscape
Prairies of Guozigou
The Guozigou Valley descends among spruces, pastures and torrents from the high plateaus to the Ili. Seasonal accommodation allows to slow down between the routes, subject to local controls.
