Somiedo and western Asturias

To understand what Somiedo and Western Asturias are, you must look at the natural park of Somiedo, Lagos de Saliencia and Polas de Somiedo. These places give you a view of a territory marked by mountain reliefs, natural spaces, forests and the countryside and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Somiedo Natural Park
The Somiedo Nature Park runs as a text in relief: closed valleys, open clearings, and then valley folds where the sounds are silent. An outdoor day gains to be divided into several sequences to follow the luminous contrasts. The height zones offer long views, the areas covered with close details.
