Syracuse and Skaneateles
Channels, lakes with clear waters and large green spaces in the centre of New York State.
To understand what Syracuse and Skateateles are, look at Skateateles Lake, Erie Canal Museum and Green Lakes State Park. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, shores and lakes, heritage and natural spaces and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: variable influx depending on the season and check the schedules of the sites. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Major site
Skaneateles Lake

Culture and heritage
Green Lakes State Park

Culture and heritage
Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Rosamond Gifford Zoo offers a clear animal progression, from large mammals like elephants in Asia to cold climate species. Its compact structure is suitable for families and offers a safe alternative in case of uncertain weather around the surrounding lakes, without giving up the discovery.
