Tabernas Desert
The Tabernas Desert forms a landscape of clear gullies, dry plateaus and badlands carved by erosion, rare on this scale in Europe. A guided walk or marked itinerary allows you to observe closely the mineral layers, the vegetation adapted to the aridity and the natural scenery used by the cinema. The light is more legible early in the morning or late afternoon, when the reliefs project long shadows.

Oasys MiniHollywood occupies an ancient western decor built in the desert, with main street, saloon, bank and movie facades. The shows and buildings allow you to physically browse the imagination of the productions toured around Tabernas, beyond a simple exhibition. This is the most family stage of the destination, provided that several hours are available on site.
Cave and geology
Karst en yesos de Sorbas
The Sorbas karst hides a network of caves excavated in the gypsum, with translucent galleries, crystals and very special forms of erosion, under a dry landscape. The discovery is made on framed routes whose difficulty varies, from the circuit accessible to a more physical exploration. This underground visit brings a striking contrast with the open areas of Tabernas.
Cinema and heritage
Fort Bravo
Fort Bravo preserves several western scenery between the desert reliefs of Tabernas, including a Mexican village and a western city. The facades used for filming and equestrian shows are used to place these spaces in their cinematographic function. The ensemble is particularly interesting for cinema lovers who want to see a less transformed setting into a classic park.
