Tours and Touraine
Ligurian town, old districts, Loire by bike, vineyards and access to nearby castles.
To understand what Tours and Touraine are, you have to look at Vieux Tours, Loire and Vineyards of Touraine. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, riverscapes, heritage and the countryside and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Neighbourhood
Old Towers
The Old Towers concentrates on medieval streets, wood-paned houses and lively squares that give relief to the city centre. Around Plumereau Square, the alternate heritage walk, cafes and quieter passageways, ideal to find a city behind the image of the castles.
Place
Place Plumereau
Place Plumereau is the living heart of the Old Towers, surrounded by wood-paned houses and tight terraces. It is best discovered by taking the time to observe the facades and alleys that lead to it, before the atmosphere becomes festive in the evening.
Walk
Quais de Loire
The Loire wharfs offer Tours a wide breath, between banks, bridges, reflections and sand islands. The walk works without a complicated route: you follow the river, you watch the light move on the water and you understand why the Loire structure the local landscape as much.
Basilica
Basilique Saint-Martin
The Basilica of Saint Martin maintains an atmosphere of pilgrimage in the heart of Tours, around the tomb of the saint and its luminous volumes. It is as interesting for its architecture as it is for the spiritual memory of the place, especially when it is visited at a quiet moment.
