概述
Traverse City and Old Mission
Blue berries, cherry orchards and vineyards north of Lower Michigan.
Old Mission Point, Grand Traverse Bay and The Village at Grand Traverse Commons provide the most telling landmarks of Traverse City and Old Mission. Together they form a destination where the shores and lakes, the countryside and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Place indismissible
Old Mission Point
Old Mission Point combines small lighthouses, woodlands and beach for a stop that closes the peninsula smoothly. The light becomes lower and sharper, ideal for views of the bay without effort. It is a pleasant point to breathe between the routes of orchards and vineyards.
Place indismissible
Grand Traverse Bay
Grand Traverse Bay opens a large arm from Lake Michigan, separated from the main lake mass by the Leelanau Peninsula. Variations in depth and width give a changing geography between open water and more sheltered coves. The landscape is visually more structural than strictly touristic.
Place indismissible
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons re-employs a former psychiatric hospital in a living neighbourhood, between shops, restaurants and residential areas. The reconversion architecture allows us to read how historical equipment can become a full-use area. The transformation is visible from the outside, without losing the memory of the place.
