Cathédrale et vieille ville de Viseu
Viseu Cathedral dominates a granite square shared with the Church of Mercy and the Grão Vasco Museum. Its cloister, its vaulted nave and the old alleys around it make up a compact ensemble that is easily discovered on foot. The area gives a clear entrance into the history of the city before heading towards the vineyards of the Dão.

In São Pedro do Sul, thermal establishments border the Vouga rio in a green valley where hot springs have been exploited since ancient times. A cure is not essential to discover the old baths, walk along the river and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the thermal park. The stage is suitable for a smoother day between two heritage visits.
Mountain and panorama
Serra do Caramulo
The Caramulo combines a mountain village, granite blocks and panoramic roads overlooking the plains of central Portugal. Short trails lead to the high points, while the local museum offers a very different cultural alternative to the landscape. In clear weather, the view extends far to the reliefs of Serra da Estrela.
