Place indismissible
Keeper of the Plains
4.7 / 5· Hidengo1 至 2 小时
The Keeper of the Plains stands at the confluence of Arkansas and Little Arkansas, a steel silhouette facing the sky. Pedestrian footbridges, banks and fire rings lit on certain evenings give the place a special strength, linked to the native cultures of the Plains.
博物馆
Museum of World Treasures
4.6 / 5· Hidengo1 小时 30 分至 2 小时 30 分
The Museum of World Treasures takes on the taste of the cabinet of curiosities: dinosaur skeletons, Egyptian mummies, military objects, political fragments and unusual pieces respond without too wise a course. It is an effective visit for families or travellers who like to spend from one time to another in a few rooms.
Culture and heritage
Old Cowtown Museum
4.5 / 5· Hidengo1 至 2 小时
Old Cowtown Museum reconstitutes the Wichita cattle tracks with dirt streets, wooden houses, workshops and costumed characters. The visit gives life to the daily life of a border town, between saloon, forge, school, farm and shops located near the old cattle road.
Culture and heritage
Sedgwick County Zoo
4.5 / 5· Hidengo半天到一天
The Sedgwick County Zoo organizes its enclosures in large parts of the world, making the visit more fluid than just a succession of animals. Gorillas, tigers, elephants, tropical birds and plains species are discovered in neat spaces, with enough shade and stops for a complete family outing.
