General presentation
Baishan et Linjiang
Changbai forests, snow-covered villages and the Yalu Valley make up a remote area in the harsh winters.
To understand what Baishan and Linjiang are, you should look at the ancient village of Jinjiang, Songling Snow Village and Linjiang River Front. These places give us a view of a territory marked by forests, mountain reliefs, riverscapes and the countryside and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Village
Village ancien de Jinjiang
Jinjiang retains wood and earth houses adapted to the harsh climate on the western side of Changbaishan. The visit remains modest and is better associated with forest landscapes than with folk staging.

Village
Village de neige de Songling
Songling is a forest hamlet sought after in winter for its snow-covered houses and birch landscapes. Temperatures fall very low and the simple accommodation offer requires serious preparation.

Place indismissible
Front de rivière de Linjiang
Linjiang follows the Yalu facing the North Korean mountains in a narrow valley long linked to wood and trade. The walk must follow local instructions regarding photography and proximity to the border.
