Anticythère between Crete and Cythera, on a sea route known for the wreckage that delivered the famous ancient mechanism. The island remains isolated, dry and very sparsely populated; visitors mainly find coves, trails, migratory birds and a strong sense of end of the world.

La Canée It brings together an old Venetian port, Ottoman facades, arsenals and alleyways where the workshops sit alongside the taverns. It is a living base for the Cretan west, between departures to the gorges, lagoon beaches and villages of the White Mountains.
