General presentation
Chaoyang and Niuheliang
Temples, fossils and major sites of Hongshan culture occupy the dry valleys of western Liaoning.
Archaeological site of Niuheliang, North Chaoyang Pagoda and Mount Fenghuang of Chaoyang give the most telling landmarks of Chaoyang and Niuheliang. Together, they form a destination where urban life, heritage and mountain reliefs meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.
