Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Must-see place
Kawagarbo
The highest summit of the Meili Mountains is sacred in Tibetan Buddhism and remains forbidden to climb. An early visit allows to better observe the local usages and details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.

Nature and panorama
Glacier Mingyong
The glacier descends very low on the eastern side of Kawagarbo above the village of Mingyong. The distances, the weather and the condition of the accesses must be checked before departure; water, suitable clothing and the hourly margin remain useful, even during the most favorable season.

Temple
Temple Feilai
The small religious ensemble and its gazebos offer a frontal view of the snowy Meili chain. The place remains culturally sensitive and discovers itself with discretion, without hindering local practices; time frames, outfits and photographic rules are to be checked on site.
