General presentation
Île de Jeju
Volcanic island of cones, lava tunnels, cliffs, waterfalls and coastal villages dominated by Mount Hallasan.
Seongsan Ilchulbong, Mount Hallasan and Cascade Jeongbang give the most telling landmarks of Jeju Island. Together, they form a destination where island landscapes, coastline, volcanic landscapes and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.
See all
For a stay of 5 to 10 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Place indismissible
Seongsan Ilchulbong
Seongsan Ilchulbong forms a volcanic cone open above the sea on the east coast of Jeju. A staircase leads quickly to the edge of the crater, while the lower roads show better cliffs, strata and neighbouring village.

Place indismissible
Mont Hallasan
Hallasan dominates Jeju by a large volcano covered with forests and then with alpine vegetation. The top routes are long and regulated, while shorter trails allow to observe changes in altitude without taking a full day.

Waterfall
Cascade Jeongbang
Jeongbang falls directly at the foot of a coastal cliff near Seogwipo, a few meters from the sea. The last access passes through sometimes slippery rocks, but the proximity between freshwater, black basalt and marine horizon makes the site very unique.
