For a stay of 3 to 6 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

World Heritage
Aasivissuit-Nipisat. Terres de chasse inuites entre mer et glace
Between ice caps and the west coast of Greenland, Aasivissuit-Nipisat conserves camps, winter homes, caches and caribou hunting tracks. The site tells of patient seasonal migrations, where Inuit families followed animals, ice, sea and available resources.

Museum
Musée de Kangerlussuaq
Located in the former airbase building, the museum of Kangerlussuaq gathers photographs, Inuit objects and testimonies of the American history of the site. The visit gives valuable landmarks on this arctic crossroads before leaving for the tundra and ice cap.

Nature and panorama
Russell Glacier
The Russell Glacier forms a blue and white front that moves against a valley of moraine. The observation points remain on stable terrain and allow to hear cracks or to see fragments detach at a distance.

Lake
Lac Ferguson
Ferguson Lake extends into the tundra near Kangerlussuaq, surrounded by dry hills where reindeer and muskoxen live. Its shores offer a quieter discovery of Greenland's interior than excursions to the ice.
