General presentation
Rocky Mountain National Park
Alpine Tundra, lakes and high-altitude roads north of the Rocky Mountains.
Rocky Mountain National Park is a discovery around Trail Ridge Road, Bear Lake and Dream Lake. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, shores and lakes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
See all
For a stay of 4 to 9 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Nature and panorama
Trail Ridge Road
Trail Ridge Road Crosses Rocky Mountains National Park, climbing over the forests to the alpine tundra. From the viewpoints, the road reveals open ridges, snowfalls, possible dynamite herds and a sudden change in climate, particularly marked between Estes Park and Grand Lake.

Nature and landscape
Bear Lake
Bear Lake lies at the foot of dark walls and coniferous forests, with an easy trail that makes it the most accessible lake in the area. Very frequented, it remains precious early in the morning, when the water calms down and reflects Hallett Peak before the departure of hikes to other lakes.

Nature and landscape
Dream Lake
Dream Lake The elongated lake, framed by the hands of Flattop Mountain and Hallett Peak, offers one of the park's most prominent images, especially when the wind is not still wrinkling water. The lake is surrounded by a trail that rises from Bear Lake, between pines, boulders and small openings on the tops.

Nature and panorama
Alberta Falls
Alberta Falls concentrates the strength of the meltwater in a rocky fall surrounded by pines and polished blocks. The path from Glacier Gorge remains relatively short, but the rumbling of the water and the sprays already give a real feeling of mountain, especially at the beginning of the summer.
