Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Place indismissible
Morro Rock
Morro Rock overlooks the entrance to the harbour of Morro Bay as a volcanic block placed in the sea mist. The roadway allows to approach its base, while the nearby beaches offer the most beautiful views of its silhouette, often accompanied by otters, gulls and fishing boats.

Culture and heritage
Mission San Luis Obispo
Mission San Luis Obispo Its belfry is joined to the vestibule, a rare form among Californian missions. In the city centre, its arcades, church and garden introduce a quieter stage between the cafes of San Luis Obispo and the coastal landscapes of Morro Bay.

Place indismissible
Montaña de Oro
Montaña de Oro The coast is wilder than the nearby urban beaches, made up of friable cliffs, coves, dunes and hills covered with chaparral. Spooner's Cove offers easy access to the ocean, while the trails to Valencia Peak or Bluff Trail offer open views of Morro Bay.

Nature and landscape
Pismo Beach
Pismo Beach keeps an atmosphere of classic seaside resort, with a long beach, a pier, surfers and very clear sunsets. The name remains linked to the clams that abounded once here, but today's visit revolves mainly around the sand, the ocean and the nearby dunes.
