Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Place indismissible
Parc Ōdōri
The main point of the project is the following: Sapporo as a long urban garden punctuated with sculptures, fountains and seasonal events. It gives a very legible axis to the city and completely changes the atmosphere between spring lilacs, summer festivals and snow sculptures.

Village
Village historique de Hokkaidō
The historic village gathers buildings from the Meiji and Taishō periods in a large wooded site at the gates of the Sapporo Farms, shops, railway station and workshops tell about the modern colonization of Hokkaidō with a materiality absent from the more classic museums.

Place indismissible
Canal d'Otaru
The Otaru Canal runs along stone warehouses linked to the former Hokkaidō maritime trade. The walk is short but extends into streets of shops, glassware and bank buildings that give the port a distinct identity of Sapporo.
