General presentation
Uvac, Zlatar et Pešter
South-west Serbian plateaux, turquoise meanders of Uvac, vultures, lakes, villages and mountain roads to Sandžak.
The discovery of Uvac, Zlatar and Pešter revolves around Meandres de l'Uvac, Lake Zlatar and Sjenica. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, riverscapes, shores and lakes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
See all
For a stay of 2 to 4 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be expected: mountain roads and seasonal boat trips. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

World Heritage
Monuments médiévaux au Kosovo
The medieval monuments in Kosovo include Dečani, the Patriarchate of Peć, Gračanica and the Church of the Virgin of Ljeviša, four high places of Serbian religious art. The frescoes, cupolas and stone volumes show a very fine dialogue between Byzantine and Romanesque traditions, in sites where conditions of access remain to be checked carefully.

Nature reserve
Méandres de l'Uvac
The meanderings of the Uvac The viewers and boat trips also allow to observe the wild vultures that make the renown of the reserve.

Mountain lake
Lac de Zlatar
Lake Zlatar offers a quieter stage between mountains, villages and wooded roads. It completes the Uvac by a slower stay atmosphere, with views, stops and small walks.

Tray
Sjenica et plateau de Pešter
Sjenica opens to the Pešter plateau, one of the most open and harsh landscapes of the Serbian south-west. Interest comes from distances, light and feeling of altitude more than from an isolated monument.
