The fortress of Daugavpils is a whole neighborhood behind its ramparts, with monumental doors, barracks, powder sheds and streets still inhabited. Installed in the former fortress arsenal, the Centre Mark Rothko connect Daugavpils The rooms dedicated to Rothko are close to ambitious temporary exhibitions, in a brick building that keeps the memory of its military use.
