Lake Rāzna, Manoir of Lūznava and Mākoskalns give the most telling landmarks of Rāzna National Park. Together, they form a destination where the shores and lakes, forests, countryside and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Mākoņkalns requires a short climb, rewarded by the traces of an old castle and a wide view of Lake Rāzna. In clear weather, the fields, forests and villages of Latgalian are read in successive crowns around the water, with a more marked relief than elsewhere in the region.
