Tianning Temple
The Tianning temple is dominated by a monumental contemporary pagoda visible from much of the centre. Religious courses are older than the tower and deserve a separate visit from its panorama.

Hongmei Park
The park surrounds pagoda, canals and gardens immediately next to the temple Tianning. It shows the local daily early in the morning, far from the purely industrial image of Changzhou. The beginning of the day usually offers more calm.

Changzhou Museum
The municipal museum combines local history, calligraphy and collections of natural history. Its compact journey brings context to the scattered remains of the Grand Canal. Architectural details are better discovered without haste.
