Morvan
Woody massif, lakes, quiet villages and nature accessible away from crowds.
The discovery of Morvan revolves around Lakes, Forets and Calm. The stay thus alternates between forests, shores and lakes, the countryside and natural areas, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, a quiet rhythm works well. To anticipate also: more limited cultural offer. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.

World Heritage
Abbaye de Fontenay
Fontenay Abbey in Burgundy expresses the Cistercian ideal through its simple architecture: an unadorned church, cloister, dormitory, forge and working buildings. Pale stone, water and uncluttered spaces make for a peaceful visit, revealing monastic life through the buildings themselves rather than their decoration.
Lake
Lac des Settons
Lac des Settons combines calm water with wooded hills, offering views that change after walking just a few hundred metres. A longer walk gives a much better sense of the landscape than staying in one spot. The quiet of the morning contrasts sharply with the busier areas in the afternoon.
バシリカ
Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine de Vézelay
The Basilica of St. Mary Magdalene in Vézelay understands itself when leaving the court for the interior: the vertical volume takes on another dimension when one approaches slowly. Each stone detour leads to a different reading, from sculpted detail to the general perspective. Filtered light particularly enhances volumes.
遺跡
Bibracte
Bibracte presents itself as a palimpsest of paths: remains, uplifts, points of view and transitions between slope and ridge. It feels defensive logic better than we read it in one passage. An unhurried walk brings back the depth of the place.
