Millevaches Plateau
Wild plateau, lakes, forests, discrete villages and log-in stay.
The discovery of Plateau de Millevaches revolves around Lakes, Forets and Tres low density. The stay thus alternates between the countryside, forests, shores and lakes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: dispersed services. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.

Lake
Lac de Vassivière
The lake of Vassivière opens onto a wide panorama and more secret areas: scents, wooded tips, open banks. The site reads very well if it voluntarily passes from a panoramic plane to a riverside detail. A bright afternoon makes the contrasts more obvious.
都市
Meymac
Meymac offers a valley front and streets that gently bring back to the more natural spaces of the plateau. Daily uses give human matter to the setting, which makes the visit more incarnate than purely panoramic. The time at the beginning of the day improves the readability of the atmospheres.
村
Tarnac
Tarnac reads at two tempos: usual center and exits to the surrounding ridges. Subtle changes in landscape volume can be seen better if one jumps from one point of view to another. An unhurried walk gives a more coherent narrative.
山
Mont Bessou
Mount Bessou offers a panorama that gradually opens and values the thickness of the plateau. The summit is interesting only if we have taken the time to evaluate the climb that leads to the views. In the afternoon, the landscape scale becomes more comfortable to read.
