Abruzzo Adriatic Littoral, known for its fishing huts, cycle paths, small coves and nearby villages.
Costa dei Trabocchi, San Vito Chietino and Fossacesia give the most telling landmarks of Cote des Trabocchi. Together, they form a destination where the coastline, natural spaces and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than a single uniform decor.

Costa dei Trabocchi
The Costa dei Trabocchi It owes its character to these old wooden fishing machines placed on stilts above the Adriatic. Following the coast on foot or by bike, we pass from rocky coves to promontories, with the noise of water under platforms and rails converted into coastal routes.

In San Vito Chietino, trabocchi, high streets and the slope of the alleys frame a direct relationship with the marine horizon. The place is read alternately ascent and descent: horizontal views of the sea, then tighter returns to architectural details. In the morning the volumes are strengthened, in the evening the colours soften and the shadows prolong the walk.

Fossacesia reveals its presence from the moment of access, between living seafront and chaining of quieter neighborhoods. The maritime part in urban planning is quickly captured: narrow alleys, exposed facades, access to the coast designed for changing flows. When the afternoon goes up, the light focuses on the stone thresholds and facades.

Abbey San Giovanni in Venere
The Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere dominates the coast of Trabocchi from an open promontory on the Adriatic. Its clear stone church, its carved gate and its sober bedside take a special strength with the sea below; the place speaks as much by its silence as by the sharpness of its settlement.
