Remarkable location
Kéa
Kea is one of the closest Cyclades to Attica, with a landscape of terraces, oaks, coves and villages retreating from the sea. From the Athenian Riviera, it offers a fast island escape but less spectacular than Santorini, more oriented towards walking, discreet beaches and Greek weekends.

The Britannic, twin of the Titanic, lies off Kea after his shipwreck in the Aegean Sea. It is not a classic visit since the Riviera athénienne : the place speaks especially to those passionate about maritime history and technical divers, because the wreck remains a deep site, demanding and strictly framed.

Cape Sounion
Cape Sounion closes the coastal road of Attica by a rocky promontory facing the Aegean Sea. The landscape combines cliffs, coves and distant islands; at the end of the day, the light gives the columns of the temple of Poseidon a particularly clear presence.

The temple of Poseidon stands at the edge of Cape Sounion, with its clear columns cut off on the Aegean Sea. The visit is as close to the monument as it is to its position: wind, sea horizon, islands far away and sunset make up one of the most legible ancient landscapes near Athens.
