The temple of Aphaia occupies a wooded height of Égine, facing the Saronic Gulf and the blue lines of the sea. Its columns gilded by the sun, more isolated than the monuments of Athens, give an ancient visit quiet, easy to combine with the port and pistacheries of the island.
