概述
Bayannur and the Yellow River Bend
Agricultural oasis of Hetao, large lake of reeds and engraved slopes of the Yin Mountains structure the western part of the region.
Wuliangsuhai Lake, Hetao Museum and Yin Mountain rock engravings give the most telling landmarks of Bayannur and loop of the Yellow River. Together, they form a destination where urban life, riverscapes, shores and lakes and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Wuliangsuhai is a vast shallow lake covered with reeds on an important bird migration road. Access points are dispersed and observation depends on seasons, water level and protection areas.

Hetao Museum
The Museum of Bayannur explains the irrigation of the Hetao, the local archaeology and the exchanges between farmers and people of the steppe. This visit helps to understand why a fertile belt runs along the river on the edge of the desert.

Gravures rupestres des monts Yin
The Yin Mountains retain thousands of engravings representing animals, hunters, horsemen and signs on isolated walls. Only certain areas are arranged; a local guide is useful to locate them without leaving the authorized accesses.
