Wheeler Peak overlooks the Grand Bassin National Park with elevation slopes, coniferous forests and very wide views of the eastern Nevada. The scenic road then the trails gradually draw closer to the ice circuses, late snowfalls and a world far more alpine than the surrounding desert.
