Khongoryn Els
Monumental dunes, oasis and Gobi mountains form one of the most powerful landscapes in the south of Mongolia.

Dunes by Khongoryn Els
The singing dunes stretch for more than 100 kilometres at the foot of dark terrains. The ascent is difficult in the sand and must avoid the warmest hours. The weather, altitude and condition of the tracks must be checked before departure.

Khongoryn Gol River
A thin stream and pastures green the foot of the dunes. The contrast attracts herds and camps, whose impact on the resource must remain measured. Light, wind and season greatly transform the landscape.
