Between Ifrane and Azrou, the Middle Atlas alternates towns of altitude, cedrals and lake depressions. The National Park protects habitats of the Barbary macaque. Dayet Aoua completes the discovery of landscapes, but the aspect of the lake depends on the water available; you must not imagine an unchanging water.
The discovery of Ifrane and Azrou is centred around the National Park of Ifrane, Ifrane, high altitude town and Azrou. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, forests, shores and lakes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 2 to 4 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: do not feed the macacs; snow and hydrological condition to be checked according to the period. The Ifrane National Park extends into the Middle Atlas and protects habitats from the Barbary macaque. Its forests are a natural environment to be covered with caution, without guaranteeing the presence of animals on a given route.

Dayet Aoua is a lake depression in the Middle Atlas, in the province of Ifrane, at about 1,460 meters above sea level. The state of the water body can evolve: the sheet describes the geographical site, without promising a full lake.
