Mikkeli and Puumala
Lakeside roads, war headquarters and island forests plunge into the heart of the Saimaa.
The discovery of Mikkeli and Puumala is based around the Museum of the headquarters, Route 62 of Puumala and Astuvansalmi. The stay thus alternates between urban life, shores and lakes, forests and heritage, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
