The Long Point lighthouse dominates Crow Head and Notre Dame Bay from a coast of cliffs and exposed rocks. In clear weather, the look takes a long way to the islands and seasonal icebergs; by fog, the red and white tower becomes an almost soundy landmark in the wind.
