The Basilica of San Nicola imposes a massive Romanesque presence in the heart of Bari Vecchia, with its clear facade, sober arches and crypt linked to the cult of St.Nicolas. Inside, the stone keeps a soft light; outside, the narrow streets remind that the building remains caught in the daily life of old Bari.

Polignano a Mare
In Polignano a Mare, the sea and the slopes give a very visible energy to the walk. The enclosed alleys open and close the view, creating a dialogue between coastal agitation and softness of the dark interiors. One feels the singularity of the place by alternating waterfront and left more quiet.
