For a stay of 2 to 4 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: very changing weather and sometimes wet paths. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.

Brown Willy attracts walkers to the highest point of Cornwall, in a landscape of bare moors, peatlands and granite. Interest is less high than the isolation of the Bodmin Moor, with a weather that can quickly transform the atmosphere.

Golitha Falls follows the river Fowey in a damp wood where the water runs between rocks, mosses and dark trunks. The walk remains accessible, but it gains a lot after the rains, when the noise of the water gives the place all its presence.

Lanhydrock combines large Victorian house, gardens and wooded estate at the gates of the Bodmin Moor. Service rooms, lounges and traffics tell the story of domestic life as well as prestige, which makes the visit more concrete than just a castle journey.

Dozmary Pool lies in the heart of an open and stripped landscape of Bodmin Moor, associated with arthurian legends and moor's tales. It's a silent stopover rather than a great show, interesting to feel the harsh and almost naked atmosphere of the plateau.
