概述
Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
Welsh capital between castle, museums, renovated bay, parks, rugby and easily accessible coastline.
Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay and National Museum Cardiff are the most telling landmarks of Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan. Together, they form a destination where urban life, heritage, riverscapes and the coastline meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 4 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: urban atmosphere and some sites depend on events. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Castle
Cardiff Castle
Cardiff Castle combines fortification architecture, reconstructions and updated uses in the same route. Its inner course and its courses give a clear reading of the functions of the place throughout the centuries, with a strong visual presence.
Neighbourhood
Cardiff Bay
Cardiff Bay combines neighborhoods, docks and contemporary uses in a living ensemble. The streets and facades serve as a narrative thread to understand the transformation of a port space into a modern cultural area, without losing its traces of riparian work.
Museum
National Museum Cardiff
The National Museum Cardiff articulates collections of art, natural sciences and local history on easy-to-personalize routes. It is a relevant place to alternate visual contemplation and understanding of the national narrative without leaving the centre of the Welsh capital.
Park
Bute Park
Bute Park is home to a generous city nature, with aisles, water points and variations of light that favour long walks. It is a space where the plant material becomes a counterpoint to the facades of Cardiff, ideal for recalibrating the rhythm.
