Remarkable location
Calais
Calais combines seafront, port memory and civic architecture, with the belfry, the town hall and the Bourgeois de Calais de Rodin in strengths. The city takes on relief near the beach and the docks, when the light of the Channel hangs ferries, dikes and English silhouettes in clear weather.
