Tulcea serves as a threshold for the Danube Delta, with its docks, boats and canal-oriented agencies. The city does not have the silence of the reeds, but it allows to prepare the entrance into this world of water, birds and villages accessible by boat.

Sulina joins the river and looks at both the Danube, the Black Sea and the long sandy beaches. Former cosmopolitan port, the small town keeps lighthouses, a marine cemetery and a more marked impression of the end of the world than in continental bases.
