Museum of the North
The Museum of the North, on Fairbanks campus, brings together fossils, Inuit art and Athabascan, naturalized specimens, historical objects and contemporary works from the Far North. Its white and angular architecture responds to the outdoor landscape; inside, the rooms make the scope of Alaska feel, from mammoths to experimental sounds of The Place Where You Go to Listen.

Chena Hot Springs
Chena Hot Springs combines hot outdoor baths, boreal forest and solitary road from Fairbanks. In winter, steam in cold air and the chance of aurora give the place a very special atmosphere; in summer, the interest comes more from the contrast between mineral spring, wooded hills and long clear evenings.

Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park is home to historic buildings, small museums, locomotives, boats and facades inspired by the early days. The park has a popular and family side, more alive than solemn, with enough objects and reconstitutions to evoke the gold rush, river navigation and the growth of the city.

Creamer's Field
Creamer's Field transforms former dairy fields into a refuge for cranes, geese, ducks and migratory birds, at the gates of Fairbanks. The trails cross meadows, birch and wetlands; in spring and autumn, bird gatherings give the place its most lively moment.
