Lárissa
Lárissa is a large plain town, laid on the Penaeus, with ancient remains, lively squares and a less touristic urban life than the sites of Mount Olympus. It serves as a contrast before or after Litóchoro: cafes, market, antique theatre and Thessalian heat dominate the impression of visitation.

Litóchoro settle between the slopes of Olympus and the coastal plain, with alleyways, taverns and constant views towards the mountain. The city serves as a natural base for the gorge of Enipeas and the refuges, while remaining close enough to the sea to feel this rare contrast.

The gorge of Enipeas rises from Litóchoro between wooden bridges, clear basins, monastery and humid forest. The path offers a progressive approach to Olympus, less engaged than the peaks but already very mountainous, with the noise of water as a leading wire.

Prionia
Prionia is the main point of departure for the road to the refuges of Olympus, installed at the end of a forest road above Litóchoro. The place marks the passage to a more serious mountain: fresh springs, pine trees, trail signs and walkers equipped for climb.
