概述
Piacenza, Bobbio and the Trebbia Valley
Western emilia of palaces, valleys, ancient bridges, stone villages and clear river to the Apennines.
Plaisance, Bobbio and Ponte Gobbo give the most telling landmarks of Plaisance, Bobbio and Val Trebbia. Together, they form a destination where urban life, riverscapes, heritage and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than a single uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: vallee roads and summer heat. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

Place
Plaisance
Plaisance With its arcade squares, brick palaces and powerful churches of the Padane plain, Piazza Cavalli sets the tone: equestrian statues, civic facades and cafes make up a centre where history remains intertwined with ordinary uses.
Place
Bobbio
Bobbio requires a reading both historical and current, with a dense city heart and transitions to the margins. Flanner following the main breakthroughs and then returning by a secondary street clarifies the order of the town.
Place
Val Trebbia
The Trebbia Valley is experiencing the continuity of views, the relationship to water and the stopping points that the relief naturally induces. Go on several segments to feel how a seemingly simple landscape becomes a true sequence of scenery.
Place
Rivalta Castle
The castle of Rivalta dominates by its architecture and its presence in the surrounding fabric. Its interest culminates when one examines its accesses, courtyards and facades from several positions: the building then becomes a relational piece between territory, memory and contemporary circulation.
