To understand what Sifnos is, look at Apollonia, Kastro and Chrisopigi. These places give us an opportunity to see a territory marked by island landscapes, the coastline, the countryside and the heritage and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Sérifos offers a Cyclade more rough than many of its neighbors, with Chora hanging over the harbour, dry hills and beaches often bordered by dark rocks. Sifnos, the island speaks to travelers who love bare horizons, white villages and ferry crossings without a busy program.

Folégandros stands out for its Chora on the edge of a cliff, its tight plots and its paths to the church of Panagia. The island remains very mineral, often windy, and seduces especially when evening light cuts off the white walls over the Aegean Sea.

Apollonia forms the living center of Sifnos, with white alleys, discreet shops, cafes and passages that are strongly animated in the evening. Its central position facilitates the journeys to Artemonas, Kastro, beaches and trails, while keeping an atmosphere of inhabited village.

Kastro of the Sifnos preserves a tight medieval plan, with ancient doors, nestled houses and alleys that suddenly lead to the sea. Below, the chapel of the Sept-Martyrs laid on its rock gives one of the sharpest images of the island.
