Palace of the puppet emperor
The Puyi Palace retains offices, apartments and official buildings of the Mandchoukou under Japanese occupation. The museum exhibits a complex colonial regime and deserves several hours to go beyond the scenery alone.

Jingyuetan Forest Park
Jingyuetan surrounds a large reservoir of planted forests, cycle paths and trails southeast of Changchun. Very frequented on weekends, it becomes in winter an important Nordic ski field and snow sculptures.

World Sculpture Park
The sculpture park gathers hundreds of international works around lakes and lawns in the south of the city. The quality is uneven, but the whole offers a long cultural walk away from the main axes.
