General presentation
Daejeon and Gyeryongsan
Scientific museums, hot springs and mountain temples bring together research cities and protected reliefs.
National Science Museum, Hot Springs of Yuseong and Temple Donghaksa give the most telling landmarks of Daejeon and Gyeryongsan. Together, they form a destination where the big city, mountain reliefs, heritage and forests meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Museum
National Museum of Science
The Musée national des sciences of the Daejeon brings together planetarium, natural history, technologies and interactive spaces on a vast campus. The collections are particularly adapted to families, while giving context to the role of the city as a Korean research centre.

Place indismissible
Hot springs of Yuseong
Yuseong has developed around hot springs known since the Joseon period. The large contemporary establishments have replaced part of the ancient thermal landscape, but the public foot baths and walks still allow a simple stop in the heart of the neighborhood.

Temple
Donghaksa Temple
Donghaksa is located in a forested valley of Gyeryongsan National Park, at the end of a road following a creek. Religious buildings serve as a gateway to longer hikes to the ridges, the difficulty of which varies greatly according to the route.
