Kim Il-sung Square forms a large ceremonial space between official buildings, museum and river Taedong. It hosts parades and gatherings staged by the State; the trips and shootings are subject to strict instructions from the official escorts.

Arc de Triomphe de Pyongyang
The Arc de Triomphe commemorates Korean resistance to Japanese occupation in the official version of the regime. Higher than its Parisian model, it is on a large crossroads near the Kim Il-sung Stadium and is generally observed on a very framed route.
