General presentation
Zion National Park
High sandstone walls, green canyon and spectacular itineraries.
To understand what Zion National Park is, you have to look at Zion Canyon, The Narrows and Angels Landing. These places give us a view of a territory marked by desert areas, mountain reliefs, riverscapes and natural spaces and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 3 to 7 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Nature park
Parc national de Zion
Zion locks the Virgin River between red cliffs, vertical walls, hanging gardens and narrow canyons. The main valley gives immediate views, but the experience changes according to the chosen paths: aerial viewpoints, walking in the water of the Narrows or short walks at the foot of the walls do not imply the same commitment.

Nature and panorama
Zion Canyon
Zion Canyon is the most famous red wall of the park, built on both sides of the Virgin River. The valley alternates vertical cliffs, poplars, meanderings and trail departures; early in the morning, light slowly descends on the rock and gives the canyon a depth that the views alone do not render.

Place indismissible
The Narrows
The Narrows lived in the Virgin River, between sandstone walls that came close to turning the canyon into a water and rock corridor. The hike depends heavily on the flow, the weather and the risk of flooding; it speaks mainly to travellers ready to walk in cold water rather than looking for a simple gazebo.

Place indismissible
Angels Landing
Angels Landing is a sandstone ridge suspended above Zion Canyon, known for its last narrow section equipped with chains. The trail requires a good ease with the void, but the reward is clear: the valley runs on both sides, with the Virgin River in ribbon at the bottom of the canyon.
