World Heritage
New Lanark
New Lanark retains its large stone mills on the edge of the Clyde, workers' housing and educational buildings associated with Robert Owen's social ideas. The village is seen as a piece of industrial history still legible, with the rumbling of the river, the lined facades and the bridges to the nearby falls.

Mur d'Antonin
The Antonin Wall marks a Roman border in Scotland that is more northerly than the Hadrian Wall, now visible through fragments of ditches, sloped and strong. Its interest lies in the reading of relief: the remains follow hills and valleys, revealing the defensive logic of a military line installed in a humid and open landscape.
