To understand what Copenhagen is, look at Nyhavn, Tivoli Gardens and Rosenborg Castle. These places give us a view of a territory marked by the big city, urban life, heritage and coastline and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Remarkable location
Amager
Amager extended Copenhague south with a very visible mix of modern neighborhoods, urban beaches, nature reserve and airport infrastructure. Amager Strandpark, Ørestad and Kalvebod Fælled, the island shows a Danish capital with a focus on water, cycling and large flat spaces.

Place indismissible
Nyhavn
Nyhavn line its colourful houses and its old ships around a canal once a merchant. The docks are very lively, but a morning walk still allows you to grasp the maritime details before the terraces open.

Garden
Jardins de Tivoli
Tivoli mixes rides, gardens, historic pavilions and concerts in the heart of the Copenhague At dawn, the lights transform the alleys and give the park an atmosphere that goes far beyond that of a classic carnival.

Castle
Château de Rosenborg
Rosenborg looks like a fairytale palace in the King's gardens. Its compact rooms, royal collections and crown jewels allow to approach Danish history without the solemnity of a huge museum.
